Are you interested in learning how to how to make useful hash oil quickly and with a minimal time and monetary investment? Try out this simple recipe. It can give you a head start in the fun world of hash oil vaporizing and baking.
Start by finding some rubbing alcohol at a drug store and ensure that it isn’t denatured: that means it is actually poisonous! In a pinch, you can use extremely pure vodka or rum, but your best bet is to use rubbing alcohol.
Using a grinder, grind your weed into a very fine dust. It should take about 5-10 minutes to grind it as much as is necessary for this process to work. Once you’re done, pour the powder into a jar (a mason jar or a recycled jam jar will do) and pour the rubbing alcohol over the marijuana. Make sure it is completely covered and then seal the top of the jar.
After about 24 hours of soaking, the alcohol will take on a distinctly green tint. Unfortunately, if it turns brown you should probably just throw it away; your weed was probably too cheap or impure to make good oil.
Open the jar and pour the liquid through a coffee filter into a separate container to remove the plant fibers. You aren’t going to want to ingest any rubbing alcohol, so you need to let it evaporate in the sun for at least a day or two.
The remaining residue will be a rather concentrated and somewhat sticky tar: this is your hash oil. You can now smoke it in a vaporizer or add olive oil or butter to it to use for cooking. Cooking can give you delicious pot brownies that can relax your mind and soothe your anxiety.
Hash oil can also be used to cure certain kinds of medical conditions, including:
- Stomach aches
- Pain from glaucoma
- Potentially, even cancer
Unfortunately, some people attempting to make hash oil use unsafe techniques, such as using butane, which can result in explosions. They can also get sick if any of the butane remains in the oil. Stick with rubbing alcohol to get the safest oil.
