Where Weed is Legal?

4

As of February 2015, twenty-three states and the District of Columbia have laws that legalize marijuana in some form.

Understanding the laws surrounding marijuana can be confusing because each state’s laws are different. Many states have legalized medical marijuana for qualifying medical conditions, but only a four states have made recreational weed legal.

Where is marijuana legal?

More than half of Americans believe marijuana should be legal, but unfortunately, the country hasn’t legalized it or decriminalized it on a federal level yet. There’s quite a disconnect between the two.  In several states cannabis is still entirely illegal so, make sure that you know the law. What happens if you’re caught with marijuana can also greatly from state to state. The punishments vary from a simple citation to cold hard jail time. So, pay attention to the laws and follow them.
